Disclaimer
iLoveIMG is a free online toolkit of 259 tools for images, PDFs, Office documents and everyday file chores. This page sets out the limits of what we promise, in plain language, because a disclaimer nobody reads protects nobody.
The tools are provided as is
Every tool on this site is offered as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that a tool will produce a particular result, that it will suit your specific purpose, or that it will behave identically in every browser and on every device.
We test the tools and we fix what breaks. Even so, browsers differ, files differ, and some inputs will expose an edge case nobody has hit before. If a result looks wrong, stop and check it before you rely on it. For anything that matters, keep a copy of the original and verify the output yourself.
Your files stay on your device, and we cannot recover them
This is the point on this page that deserves the most attention, because it has real consequences.
Every tool here runs client-side, in your browser, using JavaScript, WebAssembly and the Canvas API. When you pick an image, your browser reads it from your disk, processes it in local memory, and hands you the result. The file is uploaded only for the 44 office conversions, which delete the copy the moment they finish. There is no server copy, no temporary cache on our side, no recycle bin we can dig through. We hold nothing to recover from.
So if a processed image is lost, overwritten or corrupted, we cannot restore it. Not as a favour, not on request, not for a fee. The file only ever existed on your device, and whatever happens to it there is outside our reach. Please keep your originals.
Why images specifically need care
The image tools are the most used part of this site, and image processing is the easiest place to lose something permanently.
- Compression is lossy. Squeezing a photo to a smaller file size throws away detail that no later step can bring back. Compress the same image five times and it degrades five times. Always work from the original, not from the last compressed copy.
- Resizing discards pixels. Shrinking an image throws pixels away. Enlarging it cannot invent detail that was never captured, so the result may look softer or blockier than the source. Neither direction is reversible.
- Converting between formats can drop things. Moving from a format that supports transparency to one that does not will replace transparent areas with a solid colour. A conversion can also drop metadata such as EXIF, which is where camera settings, capture date and sometimes location data live. That loss happens quietly, and the original is the only place the data still exists.
- Overwriting the original is the usual mistake. Most tools will offer to save the result with a new name. Take that offer. If you overwrite the source file, there is no undo anywhere in the chain.
None of this is a defect. It is how image processing works, in our tools and in every other tool that does the same job. It is simply worth knowing before you start.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical or tax advice. The guides on our blog are written by our team to explain how a format, a setting or a workflow behaves. They describe technical matters, not your situation. If you need advice on a legal, financial, medical or tax question, speak to a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Reading an article here is not a substitute for that.
Independence and no affiliation
iLoveIMG at https://iloveimg.pro is an independent website, run by an individual publisher based in Pakistan, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any other company or website that uses a similar name. In particular, we have no relationship of any kind with the Spanish company behind iloveimg.com. The resemblance between the names is coincidental, and we make no claim to their brand, their marks or their services. Where this site and any other site differ in features, pricing or policies, those differences are theirs and ours separately, and nothing here should be read as a statement about anyone else’s business.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices.
Advertising
This site is free to use because it carries advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads pay for the hosting and the time that goes into building and maintaining 259 tools, and that is the entire commercial arrangement.
Advertisers have no influence over tool output. They do not see your files, because those the 215 browser-based tools never upload them, and the 44 office conversions delete the upload the moment they finish or which tools exist. Ads are kept apart from tool content and are served through Google’s systems, not chosen by us to match what you are working on. If an ad looks broken, misleading or inappropriate, tell us at the address below and we will look into blocking it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of iLoveIMG is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or its tools. That includes lost or corrupted files, lost data, lost work time, lost profits, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether the claim is framed in contract, in tort, or on any other basis.
You use the tools at your own risk. Keep backups of anything you cannot afford to lose, and test a tool on a copy before you run it on the only version you have.
Your responsibility over the files you process
You decide what goes into these tools, and that decision is yours to answer for. By using the site, you confirm that you have the right to process the images and documents you select. That means you own them, you have the copyright holder’s permission, you have a licence that covers this use, or the law otherwise allows it.
Do not use the tools to infringe copyright, to alter documents with intent to deceive, or to process images of other people in ways that breach their rights or your local law. Since processing happens on your device, the choices and the results are entirely yours.
