Short version: most of our tools process your files entirely inside your browser — your documents never reach our servers. For the few tools that need server processing, files are transferred over an encrypted connection and deleted automatically after your result is ready. We don't require accounts and we don't sell personal data.
iLoveIMG (iloveimg.pro) provides 84 free online tools for working with images, PDFs, Office documents and other files. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, why it is collected, and what choices you have.
It covers the website and all tools and guides published on it. Links to external sites are not covered — those sites have their own policies.
This is the part that matters most, so it comes early.
Browser-based tools: The majority of our tools (image editing, PDF merging and splitting, compression, format conversion and similar) process your files entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files never leave your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is copied to a server, and closing the tab erases the working data.
Server-processed tools: A small number of tools (mainly Office document conversions such as Word to PDF) need server software to do their job. If you use one of these tools, your file is transferred over an encrypted HTTPS connection, processed, made available for download, and then automatically deleted from our server. Server-processed files are not opened, reviewed, shared or used for any other purpose.
You can always tell which type of tool you are using: server-processed tools are the only ones that show an upload step. All other tools work instantly and offline after the page loads.
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.
Information you provide: If you contact us through the contact form, we receive your message and the email address you provide. That's it — there are no accounts, profiles or payment details anywhere on this site.
Technical information collected automatically: Like most websites, our servers record standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to build advertising profiles.
Cookies: We use cookies for basic site functionality and, where enabled, for advertising as described in section 4.
The site is supported by advertising, which lets us keep every tool free.
Third-party advertising: We use advertising services (including Google AdSense) to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
Your choices: You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. Information is used for four purposes only:
To provide the tools and process your requests.
To respond to messages you send us.
To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix technical problems.
To show advertising that keeps the service free.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your files or messages for marketing.
Files: Server-processed files are deleted automatically after processing. Browser-processed files never leave your device in the first place.
Messages: Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your question, then deleted.
Logs: Server logs are rotated and deleted on a short schedule.
Security: All connections to the site use HTTPS encryption. Server-side files live in an isolated temporary directory that is cleaned automatically. No system is perfectly secure, but we deliberately minimize what there is to protect by storing as little as possible.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data — including the right to access, correct or delete data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing (for example, personalized advertising).
Because we collect so little, most requests concern contact form messages or advertising preferences. To exercise any of these rights, contact us with the details and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and similar).
The site relies on a small number of service providers:
Hosting and CDN: to serve pages quickly and securely.
Google AdSense: for advertising (see section 4).
Analytics: where enabled, aggregate usage statistics that help us understand which tools need work. These statistics are not used to identify individual visitors.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We choose providers that meet current data-protection standards.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes — for example, if a tool that previously ran in the browser moves to server processing — will be called out clearly at the top of the page.
